Main: [[Campaign]] # The Stillness _**Population: UNKNOWN**_ The mainland has gone to ruin with the passing of the infection. Like its relative, rabies, by the time the infection is discovered the disease is nearly 100% fatal. Cities and municipalities were not equipped to handle an airborne epidemic of that level of lethality, and systems fell apart.  People call the mainland The Stillness, as there’s very little sign of life. Mammals have been nearly wiped out, or mutated into monstrous versions of themselves.  These monsters are still highly infectious, and a bite or deep scratch can spread infection to anyone caught unawares. Birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish are generally safe, but any mammal should be considered potentially lethal – from the smallest mouse to the largest bear. With cities uninhabitable, they fell to ruin. There’s much that could be recovered from them, should anyone be brave (or foolish) enough to do so.
