While he denies holding the rank of Captain, the community has nevertheless lovingly given him that name. He no longer serves any group within the community, but his house is always open to children who need a home. Several youth have come under him and Sohan’s wing, and come out as polished pillars of the community. He sometimes loses himself and his place, remembering some far off place or person, but he always comes back with a warm smile and a charming story. **Family**: Captain Masterson's biological family is not part of the community, but he has a found family that includes his many adopted children. Nearly every home is open to Captain and there’s a seat at any table should he want one.
